East Texas Baptist University is a comprehensive liberal arts university affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas. It is located in the city of Marshall, about 50 miles east of Tyler, on over 200 acres in the evergreen pine forests of east Texas near the Texas/Louisiana border.


Unique/Special ProgramsTOP

East Texas Baptist University features a strong liberal arts curriculum with 10 degrees and 31 majors. There are two Bachelor of Science in Nursing tracks as well as many excellent professional and pre-professional programs. The university offers a portfolio-based advising program. ETBU has a growing international education program with students served from 24 countries outside the United States.
