Unique/Special ProgramsTOP

Sage Graduate School, one of the Sage Colleges, offers an M.B.A. and a joint J.D./M.B.A. degree in association with Albany Law School. The community psychology program is the largest of its type in the U.S., offering an M.A. with tracks in chemical dependence, general psychology, child care and children’s services, community health education, community counseling, and art therapy. A dietetic internship program, which leads to standing as a registered dietician, is offered in conjunction with the American Dietetic Association. Programs in elementary and secondary education, guidance counseling, reading, and special education and a dual reading/special education program lead to a master’s degree and teaching certification in New York State, and there are post-master’s certificates offered in guidance counseling and secondary education. The Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.) is based on NLN-accredited programs in adult health or community health nursing, gerontological nurse practitioner studies, psychiatric-mental health nursing, or nurse practitioner studies. There is also a dual M.S.N. with an M.B.A. as well as a post-master’s certificate in nursing. The M.S. in Public Administration offers concentrations in public health management, human services administration, and gerontology and the dietetic internship. The M.S. in health services administration offers tracks in management and gerontology and the dietetic internship. The programs are flexible and carefully tailored to the needs of today’s society and students who are preparing for professional leadership. Sage also offers the only M.S. in chemical dependence administration. There are also certificate programs available.
