Campus SummaryTOP

Valdosta Technical College, a student centered college, is located at exit 22 off I-75 in Valdosta, Georgia. Students can receive training in as little as 6 months, exposing them to their chosen profession and putting them to work while continuing their education. Valdosta Tech offers over 135 Technical Certificate, Diploma and Associate of Applied Science programs from which to choose. Technical Certificates of Credit (TCC) programs are short programs of study that vary in length from several months to one year; they focus on specific skills and training and prepare students for immediate entry into the job market. As local business and industry needs change, new TCC courses are created to respond to those needs for training. Diploma and Associate of Applied Science Degree programs are offered in the business, technical and medical fields with training lasting approximately one to two years. Students in diploma and degree programs receive a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training in preparation for immediate entry into the workforce. From the first day students attend Valdosta Tech’s occupational courses, they participate in some level of hands-on practical training. We are currently expanding and recently built a new 80,000 sq. ft. state of the art academic facility featuring a student activity center to accommodate increased enrollments and new programs.
