Kansas Wesleyan University was founded in 1886 and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The mission of Kansas Wesleyan University is to promote and integrate academic excellence, spiritual development, personal well-being and social responsibility.

Located on a 28-acre campus with 11 major buildings, KWU's home is Salina, Kansas, population 47,000. Salina offers many of the modern conveniences of a large city (restaurants, major arts and cultural center, mall, golf courses, etc.) with a small-town feel. The Kansas City International Airport is only 3 hours away, while Mid-Continent Airport in Wichita is less than 90 minutes away.

At Kansas Wesleyan, the two most outstanding advantages of academic life are individual attention and practical experience. Both are designed to prepare you to compete in the job market after graduation.

KWU offers more than 27 major programs, including pre-professional programs (medicine, law, etc.). Undergraduate degrees offered include BA, BS, BASB, BSN, AA, and AAS. KWU also offers evening degree completion programs in business, nursing and criminal justice, and an accredited MBA program.
